This is what I got from Bimmercode last night. So we should get these options very soon.
Hi, expert mode for the new id7 headunit is disabled at the moment and will be added again with on of the upcoming updates. The new ASD unit used in the latest cars is not supported at the moment. Kind regards / Schöne Grüße Stephan Gauch |

Anyone been able to code the driver side window to "one-touch close".. Al tho others seem to do it, but the drivers side, you have to hold the window switch up continuously while the window closes - there must be a coding somewhere to amend that ?

No need for coding. Hold it for a second and half (maybe two) and let go - it will close without a problem.

My E46 did that, disconnecting the battery briefly fixed it iirc.

Got to the root of the problem. Seems when the door is open, the one-touch up doesn't work.....unless you code out the "window close interrupt when door open" or something to that effect !

Oh, just for clarification, I connected to my new MY20 with iD7 and Live Cockpit this evening with Bimmercode app and these are the modules I saw. Does that look about the total of it. I'm guessing that the majority of items will be in the HeadUnit and Instrument Cluster modules outside (although BodyDomain Controller has a fair amount.
Guessing start-up logos, Setting dial colours, Alpina Dials etc would be in Instrument Cluster and/or Head Unit. |

Doh ! Didn't think it would make a difference... clearly it's some sort of safety feature to stop the window closing when the door is open

Hope to get a version with Instrument Cluster soon, albeit currently only in Expert Mode. Loving the Bimmercode app though, so useful ! |

Might be useful to post to the thread about ID7 and coding.

OBDLink MX arrived just in time, is it necessary to get the app as well? Do i need the app to setup MX? Is it plug n play, select adapter on bimmercode app and connect...?

You don't need the OBDLink app. You just need the adapter and BimmerCode. It is completely plug and play. How you connect to it is lightly different in iOS than in Android. I did it a long time ago (using ESys now), but if I remember it correctly: i) in iOS, you connect to the adapter from BimmerCode directly, ii) in Android, you have to first connect your phone with the adapter and only then open BimmerCode. You only indicate in the Android version of BimmerCode which adapter is used; the connection must be done in the phone's setting.
But check the BimmerCode website. I am pretty sure it's explained there. |

That is great news. I have been waiting for the Head Unit update too. Are you able to code enhanced bluetooth using the Head Unit ECU? |
