I have BMS intakes, not RK, and the sound rocks. Who cares if there’s no performance gain. The sound alone is worth it bc you’ll have the biggest grin every time you hear it. Supposedly there’s a 10-20degree F drop in intake temps, but I don’t know about dyno before/after.

My father-in-law rode with me the other day and goes “why does your car sound like a jet? I mean, it sounds really good but how?”

When I look at the rk site, they don't show an intake for the f97/f98. Where do you find them?
how does one get the "special" pricing

I'm considering this upgrade as well but couldn't this potentially jeopardize engine-related warranty work (for those still under factory warranty) since this changes the OEM airflow design?

This is just a short clip of my RK Tunes intake.

I just drove it 500+ miles with severe storms most of the time. No issues with water. I do expect to have to clean the filters more often as they ate a lot of bugs on my last trip

Depends on how mod-friendly your dealer is. If there were ever issues you can always just go back to stop prior to taking it for warranty work.

Does anyone have the brackets to reuse the engine cover laying around that they aren’t using? If so, I’d be happy to buy them.

When did you buy your intakes? RK should have sent them to you as a previous buyer or a new buyer (for free).

I bought the intake secondhand and the person didn’t have the brackets.

This has sold me on them haha. My warranty is up next September, which was my "line in the sand" for mods. But I may have to break it for this setup.

I REALLY like the RK solution with the intakes showing in the front (looks and sounds fantastic) but I do not like the sub-optimal solution regarding the engine cover. Looks like BMS intake FTW for me.

I havent had a single issue with the cover. It doesn't move at all.

The new brackets with the foam support is holding up quite well. no movement here.

I have not had any issues with the cover and I’ve put on about 3k miles since. I agree it’s not ideal. I’m actually considering removing the cover as I’m not trying to show off my engine😂

Do you have a driving vid with the BMS intakes? Looks like the installation is effortless.
