Front grill open

Have an 2018 m40i. Just yesterday I noticed that the front grill is open all the time. It's still cold here in Sweden so it can't be due to hot weather. Has someone else had a similar problem?

I was under the impression the grills close when on the motorway/highway so they are there for improved mpg etc. They are closed at start up and do open but I don't think they stay open all the time.

Had that happen to me once, last winter. I came down to find car in morning with grills open - I noticed it straight away because I'd never seen them open before. Used car as normal and no errors flagged up and hasn't happened since in 8 months, so I guessed it just went to sleep with the grills still open and they closed as soon as I restarted the car.

Mine was stuck open as well. It threw a code so they replaced when I went in for the next service. I did have to ride with that check engine light on for a month though.

I believe yours open is an issue. Let's see if it throws a code.
