#11? Pretty cool. I see they did 52 yesterday. So another week to get to mine if they stick to that pace. They're up to 0Z03143 now.

Are they only doing M40's now? Or do the 30's have different VIN's?

Yup. You can start at the last one I used above. I jump by 5 or 10 until no more are found then go back to find the last one. Its not so bad now as they only seem to be doing < 40 a day at the moment. The last ones available show todays date so I think they are kinda up to date but no sure how real time.

Pretty sure there are at least 5 to 10 other (30i, maybe x4's) built for every one M40. They produce 1400 vehicles a day at peak.
I believe they are painted in batches, but then go down assembly line in VIN order. Was watching vids and I see different colors and models all in line.

As someone mentioned elsewhere, the numbers are a batch with the same exterior color. Correct mi, if I'm wrong. I don't think they are producing just about 50 a day.

If you look through the numbers for the day they are not the same color....so not sure how much truth there is to that. And the results show the day they were built so.....

The vids I watch of the new assembly specifically said they built it to do multiple colors and not have to batch them by color

Virginia. The tracking suggests it was dispatched yesterday, but I feel like the website info is often a day off (still shows dispatched now even though the sales manager called me on the phone with the vehicle in front of him at the dealership).

So I suspect it was dispatched late Tuesday or early Weds from South Carolina and got to Virginia today.

Another forum member here was slightly ahead of me in queue from the same dealer, so he may have picked up yesterday or today. I had thought there would be a bunch of X3 on the same truck, as the dealer said he had 6 waiting to ship from the VPC, but on today's truck mine was apparently the only X3.

Ordered on 8/4 and im week 36 production? Anyone know what this actually means in terms of when the dealer would get the car? I asked the genius rep and he said he wouldn't be able to say until production starts?

Well, normally the build week is when the car is completed. So figure it will finish up that week, spend 1-3 days going through VPC, then 1-2 days to get to you on the east coast. That is my best guess based on what I have seen and others here, accounting for the engineering/marketing holds they put on the early builds that artificially added a week+ in the middle.

Also, the build week can change, so check back on that. And it may move +/- around weekends. Best thing to do is call the 1-800 tracking number, which will give revised dates once you get into production. That number correctly had my completion date as 8/8 after going into production on 7/26.
