Lost screws

Would anyone know the size of the screw for the engine cover? Part number is 13718626736 but doesn’t specify the size. Thanks in advance

They are a non standard sized BMW specific plastic screw. The head is a T-20.

I've lost a couple as well.

Simply call your local BMW dealership’s PARTS DEPT and give them the BMW part number. You can get a price quote…if you have multiple dealerships nearby, then go with the lowest price.

Or you can google the part number (ie BMW 13718626736) to find online vendors that sell the part. You can then decide if you want to pay the online price + shipping and handling…or go with your local dealership and pay cost + local taxes.

Ended up just ordering it online 18$ for 2 piece of screws is kinda of insane to me. Couldn’t find it anywhere else

Thanks for the update...any reason you didn't check with your local dealership's parts department to see if they had them in stock (or possibly order them)?

They did not have it in stock and the price was much higher than what I ordered
