ContiSportContact 7 - Opinions/Experience

Anyone SPECIFICALLY have experience with CSC7 tires, NOT ContiSportContact6’s (that came on some x3/4m’s stock), the new 7’s.

I made a FB post in the x3/4m group about ordering some sport contact 7’s as I found a good deal on them, only to get told they sucked. I’m presuming everyone thinks I’m talking about the 6’s that came stock, as I’ve seen good reviews on the 7’s.

If you ran/currently run 7’s, what are your thoughts?

Currently on Mich PSAS4, also looking at SC7 for the next set sometime late this year. Also have read several contradictory opinions.

Was thinking of getting a set at Discount and if I dont like em return em within the 30 days they give you.

Oh didn’t even know that was a thing.

I ordered them off of simpletire at a good price. Have seen many mixed reviews, but I’m thinking maybe people are thinking I’m asking about the 6’s (that sucked).

So I’m kind of at a standstill if I return or keep..

Got 265/295 set up on mine and really love it, much better than CS6's and according to reviews better in almost all cases compared to Michelin P4S's

Got the MGT Maserati specs ones of a maserati levante. which is a similar proportioned car as the X3M.

Wow, this is great, exactly what I wanted to read/hear. Someone with first hand experience.

Many people on FB telling me they sucked, but did not run them.

How many miles do you have on yours? How many do you project to get out of em?

Just ordered 265/295 SC7s off of simpletire tonight. Online reviews to ps4s are favorable. I’ve run ps4s on my old isf but never on the x3mc, so I won’t have a personal direct comparison, but I’m happy with the price point that’s for sure.

I ended up returning mine. They came in and ended up sending them back.

Talked to some people and was getting mixed reviews. I even called conti and discussed, to their claim I was told to expect them to last “10k - 15k miles”

If you want to run the same tires year round like I do just go ps4as. I got almost 30k on my rear tires and fronts are still going.

I have a designated summer and winter set of wheels. I will say those ps4as are great! But feel like since I have designated winters and designated summers, tires should match up accordingly, as I’m not going to want to drive my summer wheels in the winter salt and grime!

Surprisingly enough, I’ve talked to a few people and they claim the Atturo AZ850 is a great tire for the price. So leaning between that and falken fk510 currently.

I've also read about the Fk and the reviews look promising. I was debating doing that one or the 'kook evo Z since its oem.
EDIT: started looking at the FK460, they look really good IMO

10-15k out of a set of summer tires on something with 500 hp and over 4000 lbs is reasonable. Even the tires that are "warrantied" for 30k miles, if you read the fine print they are only warrantied for 15k miles when they're on staggered fitment and can't be rotated.

The CS7 is a really good tire.

FK510 is probably just fine, but it's not going to be as crisp or responsive... But it's certainly cheaper.

If you're looking to go 295/35R21 rear, it doesn't look like Hankook makes that size. Falken and Atturo do.

I can't comment on the X3M but I have them on the M2. I find the tires to offer the same grip as the PS4S in the dry but way more grip in the wet and they are more comfortable. I run 245/35/19 and 265/35/19.
