Foxwell NT510 Elite or NT530

About to do my transfer case oil change for my 2017 X3. and looking to get a scan tool for registering/resetting the maintenance items. I mostly narrow down to Foxwell NT510 Elite or NT530. Both are about the same price on Amazon.com. My understnading is that NT530 is a step up to NT510, but most of my reason is that I can also purchase additional software to support my mercedes. So I am leaning towards getting a 530. For those who are familiar with Foxwell. Is there any feature on NT510 Elite that is missing on 530?

Go with the 530. The 510 is 2 generations back. IIRC, the old one does have some issues with the F series chassis.

Thanks. Also where did you guys getting the foxwell? Amazon.com has it from the 3rd seller, but I could not tell it is an authorized seller. Is foxwelltools.com or foxwellstore.com legit?

Just an update. I finally went with the NT530. Bought it from foxwellmall.com. It works as expected. I was able to re-initialize the electronic after the transfer case fluid replacement. It's pretty cool, I am also adding the software for Mercedes...

I ended getting the NT530. Based on my online search, I think the BMW support is pretty much ch the same between the two, however, it was unclear to me that the NT510 Elite supports Mercedes software.

good, yes foxwell nt530 & foxwell nt510 elite support software all the same, foxwell nt530 is the fastest one because it has the best hardware,by the way nt510 elite is fast enough,it's the upgrade version of nt510
