Want to Buy Extended Warranty

I was hoping to put this thread together to see if any dealers would like to reach out to me. I am looking for the longest duration.

Same here.. not sure if I want to go with the dealer offered aftermarket warranty for the 2020 that I'm picking up. Ideally would like to find one that is engine software tuning friendly-ish

i am waiting on quotes now from my SA, for the same topic. I'll post when they send it, looking to extend the maintenance plan and main warranty till 100k or 3 more years.

It works better if you reach out to them. There are two dealers on this site that are pretty active, just try searching and you should find their threads.

You're not mistaken. But there's an important point to differentiate - extended warranty vs vehicle service contract. There are 3rd parties offered by the dealership at the time of purchase kinda looks like an extended warranty but actually is a vehicle service contract. The latter usually cover a little more than warranties.

I'm not a lawyer and wouldn't even try to sound like one, but there are nitty gritty details that may or may not cover specific failure for whatever reason that had caused it. Some work around it by committing fraud.
