A/C not working
The A/C stopped working on my 2011 28i
I checked Freon static PSI with gauges and both sides even at 100 Compressor won’t engage. Anything I can check from here, thanks… |

My foxwell scan tool shows 80118C compressor shutdown due to vacuum in the A/C system. I cleared the code and rechecked the pressure in the A/C system and it shows 100lbs on my gauge. Tried to run the A/C and just blows hot air. Code never came back but only ran for a couple minutes.
Edit: I also found it could be an outer right ventilation stepper motor Does anyone know where this is located and shed some light. Google search showed zip on this, thanks Last edited by BIG_KID; 06-28-2022 at 11:21 PM.. |

Ok, more trouble shooting update:
Gauges installed, 100psi static pressure. Start engine and turn on A/C. Gauges don’t move. Check for 12v at A/C compressor with engine running and A/C turned on with zero volts here. I do however have a good ground. Fuses 8-11-31-44 are all good… |
