2012 BMW x3 30D Keyless Entry / Comfort Entry

Hi,

I can not seem to get the 2012 BMW x3 30D Keyless Entry / Comfort Entry to work and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Is there an obvious way to see if I have this function as the Manual mentions it

Thanks.

The manual mentions it, but are you sure you have this option? To be sure, check if the exterior door handles have those lines embossed as per the picture attached.

If you do, then it could be an issue with the comfort access module, but this would show up on a tester.

Also, if you check the owners manual built into iDrive…it will be more specific to the options and features in the vehicle…and will see it skip over things that aren’t on the car. Just a suggestion if confused by the paperback version which is printed to cover everything.

For example, my f06 does NOT have night vision…and the iDrive owners manual skips over describing this feature…but my paperback version covers it.
