the same works for opening, press and hold the unlock button and roof, all windows will start opening as long as you keep it pressed

I believe memory seats, 8 button presets, radio presets, light settings, are linked to key fob. Anything else I'm missing?
when locking car press and keep lock pressed for 2 sec and mirrors will fold, when unlocking they will unfold.

This is possible with higher versions of the iDrive software, but I am unsure you can update a '17 X3 to this version.
The only option is to fold the mirrors with long press close one the FOB.

There is no coding option to do this automatically.

IDK, the last thing I'd want is for the mirrors to fold every time the engine turns off so I never looked at the coding for it.
I'd be concerned those expensive mirrors would eventually fail from all the folding/unfolding, but I guess you have your reasons...
A long pressing the keyfob lock button doesn't seem like a lot of effort

The two best things I've pulled from this thread are:

1) Hold down the voice command button on the steering wheel (with your iPhone connected via bluetooth) and it will activate Siri. You can ask to call XYZ, you can ask to text XYZ. Great for calling someone without having to touch your phone. Works well.

2) Hold the lock button OR the comfort access "lock button" for 2 seconds and the mirrors will fold.

I learned two things this past week:
1. There is a neat little cubby to the left of my steering wheel.
2. I have the "kick to open" feature on the trunk, comes in so handy when I have two bags of groceries in each hand. Our new 2022 X3M Competition does not have this feature - hard to believe.

I also found out from the genius that I can hold down that button and simply say, "I'm Hungry" and it will provide me with a list of all closeby restaurants/eateries - how cool is that?!
