New UK X3M Competition LCI order Thread

Tick tock…. Not long now, my car will be arriving tomorrow by lunchtime!

I've been lucky and had an 840i for the last week which is a great car a but a little boring. At wait for the yellow beast to arrive tomorrow

130 mile round trip, Sussex coast to Peckham via M25 and A2, and averaged 27mpg. Early morning, roads were quite empty (until Blackheath), so there was some opportunity for some fast overtaking. And boy is it fast. In traffic, it’s at home pootling along, but as I hit a dual carriageway, you just plant that right foot, and it takes off.

The downside is that 70 mph comes up too fast, so never really enjoy it to the redline.

(I would never break the speed limit

It’s also quite agile for such a big and heavy car, with minimal body roll around some of the twisty a-roads we have. First real drive of the summer out in the sunshine. I love this car.

Epic isn't it! A 4th gear redline pull in 'Mexico' is bloody epic. Once run in and up to 5-6k I was getting 30mpg in longer runs.

Thinking replacement plus given the discounts obtained through Park Lane!

Just go for the full vehicle replacement IMO. I couldn't replace the car like for like if I had to order now.

New car day is epic. First time for me getting a new car delivered versus going to a dealership but still excited! Hopefully here in the next 3 hours.

Hi all, new to the forum but I've finally received the X3MC that I first ordered in pre-LCI form back in Feb 2021. The dealer moved the order over to the LCI (MBB rather than the original DG) in July with a proposed Oct delivery that then turned into May 2022

It's been a looooooong wait (like a lot of you guys) but now it's here and although it needs a wash, I am loving every second I get to drive it!

Awesome mate .. welcome ... although technically I don't belong here anymore as I have just sold my MBB X3MC LCi. However many of us on here have been together since we ordered our LCIs middle of last year.
I am working my way towards a G82xdrive , as I am a huge fan of the BMW Coupe, but priced out atm, picked up a gorgeous i8 Coupe on Saturday, so my 2nd visit to ///MTown is done for the now, that said the i8 has some key ///M components, super happy to be back in an extraordinary Coupe ... nonetheless the X3/4MCs are one hell of a machine

Welcome and awesome car as you’re about to find out. That was a long wait. I also ordered in July but got mine back in October. But the wait is now over. Enjoy the fun.
