Anybody know whether the introduction of the X4 might finally bring performance parts for the X3 and X4?

Yes performance parts are coming for the x4. I did not posted before as I thought that the performance part would be introduced near the Leipzig autoshow (that will held next week). The Leipzig Autoshow will be the European premiere for the X4. Today I downloaded a new german price list for the x4, valid from August 2014. I was already wondering what price changes it has, and if it will affect my order. In fact I was surprised to seen the performance part, in the accessories. So this confirm that the x4 m performance will be unveilled soon.

Thanks for that update. I'll be on the lookout for more information. I'd like to get a performance exhaust and brake upgrade for my wife's X3.

Actually the M performance parts listed in the german price list are only cosmetics: front haricots (do we call it like that), carbon cover for side mirrors, carbon rear spoiler, carbon gearshift (auto gb only), floor mates, pedals and rest cover. There is no mention yet of engine, exaust and brake performance parts.

Atleast I would be really interested in to see engine performance part for X4 3.0d which they offer already to 530d.

Confusing.. you can actually order these along with your order now? Or is this an extract form the parts catalog only?

It is an extract of the new pricelist under "accessories" after the options. Well accessories are (if I m not wrong) to be ordered separately.

However, I believe most parts are shared from the other BMW models, for examples the carbon gearshift, the pedals & rest covers, the floor mates so it is already available. Carbon Side Mirror Covers, I don't know if it is shared with another BMW Model (except X3 F25 LCI). Rear Spoiler is probably only designed for the X4.

Aren't the mirrors the same as the F3x and F2x mirrors? Could be wrong but they do have a resemblance.

I thought the same too as they have the same shape, but those on X3 and X4 may be a little bit higher. I don't know.

now it's a mEss, before seeing these pictures I was only interested in the gearshift and eventually in the powerupgrade and the exhaust. Now My heart want also the carbon trims inside, the carbon mirror covers and the rear carbon spoiler...
I m sure my dealer would like me to buy it, but I believe my bank manager will not agree...

Then we may expect power upgrades and exaust too. The list I posted was not mentionning a steering wheel neigther inside carbon trims. But the x4 has it. So do not worry it is on it s way.

Hi Richi,

I think the parts should be now available to order. Bmw.de put online the accessories pricelist. Some parts are listed and you can find their parts numbers on the pricelist. Some parts seem to be already available (since April), other (most of them) will be only available from September.
