This looks very good though I prefer the non M-sport bumper. Can't wait to see more!
I think the X6 and X4 can stay. |

I somewhat like this as an alternative to the X3 or Audi Q5. Did BMW really need to make this? No. Should've focused on making the long awaited X7!! The Mercedes GL needs competition!

Different variations and colours (pics from carscoop) note that the headlights are different in their LED versions.

I like it! I think it has its place in the line-up. Thank God a lot of ppl here don't run BMW. Of course BMW has to create niche models like the 3/5 GT, X6, X4, etc because they are not owned by a large volume corporate parent and have to extend development cost across as many models as possible. Audi has VW, Lexus has Toyota, and Mercedes has Nissan/Renault (unfortunately). On the contrary BMW is not the old GM....BMW is badge engineering more smartly than GM.
I would take the Macan over the X4 mostly because it probably handles better.

The Interior is a disaster
Porsche Macan is going to kick its butt, what is BMW thinking, dropping a low engineered ugly looking vehicle to clear its parts bin...
The design of the front and the rear does not gel with the coupe-like shape, its not looking as dynamic as X6... it looks dull as the X3... The interior is a disaster...Looks like no diesel option for US. Last edited by pothulabmw99; 03-06-2014 at 02:35 AM.. |

I found the source of carscoops. www.bmw.com has put online the x4, you can configure the car. No more Space grey, it has been replaced by a darker grey called Sophisto grey. |

Very , very nice!
I really like it is balanced in sportiness and elegance. Although I miss her a more dynamic engine with 6 cylinder 340hp. I hope the suspension is very firm. |

I fornicating love it, especially in that red, I wonder what it will look like in a charcoal grey or black, or a nice hue of blue like the concept. I don't need an SAV in the stable but this is really tempting. Looks better than the X6 to me.
Now would this go against the Q5 & Macan? If so, what else is it up against? |

The X4 will be significantly less... I love me a Macan too - but Porsche leases are prohibitively bad vs BMW (and I lease)

Although I don't understand the "niche" for this vehicle, I think it looks awesome...
