This thing is so tiny compared to the X6 (which is not that big either).

Not a baby 6
To me it looks more like different X3 than anything close to X6

I think it is going to look awesome. Love the X6 inspiration. I have the current X3 and really like the interior, I get lots of compliments on it. I understand many may not appreciate the design.
I am sure it will sell like hot cakes! |

I'm not going to lie I like it. I always liked the X6 once I drove it. I think this will be the same.

I'm really failing to see the purpose of these vehicles here amidst a range of models which is already unnecessarily large. X6 and X4 should go away (as well as a bunch of other models). Yuck.

It looks a dog. BMW design are really off the pace at present. Historically they could count on great engineering and performance to outweigh average design in the 'Bangle' era but now Audi, Jaguar etc match BMW in the engine dept. think BMW is vulnerable as the market moves to 3 and 4 cylinder engines. Still maybe BMW wants to be known as the top electric/hybrid brand in the future given size of investment in these areas

The automotive press is going to rip this car to shreds, but I kind of like it.
As for whether the interior is "dated", please refer to any of the 9,000 threads out here complaining about the interior in any of the F3x models.

Not sure I agree here.
Horsepower is up throughout the industry, but BMW is notoriously conservative in their own ratings. In terms of 0-60 performance, every review I've read shows the BMW at or very near the top of the score. The N20, controversial though it may be, is winning awards. The N55 is still seen as the smoothest, most refined engine in its power delivery class.

Ugly as sin. Slap an American Motors Eagle logo on that thing and call it a day. Not liking a lot of what BMW is putting out these days. They need to stop concerning themselves with going down market, which is driving a lot of fugly designs.

So how do you design a X4?
Simple - we take X3 and cut the roof off. Then take the roof from upcoming 4GC and slap it on our car. Voila, we got a new model called X4. Meh
