BMW catches up to Merc since it has more optimal gearing at high speeds.

Ideally it would be awesome if BMW put V8 in X3. That would be bonkers

Might come off as blasphemy, but if they took a page out of Merc's book and implemented an electric motor to account for the turbo lag from start off…that'll be bonkers

You mean boost threshold, lag is a different thing.

Yes which fills in until the turbo gets to its boost threshold....lag is different which was the point.

Beta STG1 93
0-60 3.18s -0.42% slope dragy
1/4 mile 11.14@123.78mph +0.10% slope

Beta STG1 E30
0-60 2.96s 0% slope, 2.77s with 1 ft roll-out
1/4 mile: 10.90@127.05 -0.8% slope spinning bad 1.74s 60ft'

Update/Correction not stock
