Does anyone know how to tell if the rear view mirror has the camera on the back of it? I know this is required to code in speed limit info, just not sure if the spot on my mirror is an actual camera, or just the sensor for mirror dimming.

What camera and what coding of speed limit info? I'm lost.

There is a little square camera on the back of the rear view mirror that, if enabled, reads speed limit signs, and displays the speed limit in the instrument cluster.

I'd venture a guess that if the car has "autonomous" driving features (lane keep assist, auto brake, etc) it has a camera, otherwise it doesn't.
