M performance rear spoiler

So after 10 months I was able to get one and we compared it back and forth with the stock M part and in the end choose the M performance wing. Its nice and overall compliments the car. Waiting on the RKP lip and Vossen wheels.

First one in the US showed up as 1 in the warehouse and grabbed it.

My parts manager checked weekly for me and when he checked last week it showed one in the US warehouse and thus ordered and it shipped and arrived. Every BMW parts dept has access. My guess is more will come.

I've tried ordering from several depts and they take my order and cancel right after saying they can't get them, Germany won't release them.

Yes that happened to me regularly until the warehouse showed one by chance on a Monday am and my guy grabbed it right away.

Just installed mine on my M40i an hour ago 👌🏼

This part is now available in the US. I got mine about 2 weeks ago.

You need to go to a dealership not online. Make friends with a parts guy and have him check weekly. They show up and you have to order it right away as once they are gone orders get denied. More will come as they are finally trickling in a few at a time. Also remember sometime BMW allows back ordering and then fills those first but it seems with this part its first find first deliver and no back ordering. Curious what the other member paid for his and if he got it at a dealership.

I ordered it from my dealer. I am a technician at my dealer so i got employee pricing. $225 less than list price at $852.

I have been on the look out for awhile and finally have it the full commitment in June or so. Contacted a friend of a friend in Germany to help me source. Ended up not working out. Placed an order on Schmiedmann and waited about a week or so (they said part will be in stock in 5-6 day). Checked at my dealer again and found part was released, kind of random considering BMW NA themselves said it wasn't going to be brought to the US market.

Well then it makes me feel good that as a preferred customer I usually pay 5-10% over cost so let's just say a tad less than you paid. Weird that it trickles into the system when BMW announced them in NA at the vehicle launch.

You would have to cover it. It is etched on, not a sticker or anything.
