Do they remember the dental floss for events like this in Germany?

To remove the idiotic "Competition" badge from the ridiculously busy rear badge area, before anyone can see it?

BMW needs to do away with those ugly, rusty cross drilled rotors from the E9X/F8X era... such an eyesore after regular detailing.

Uh that's just iron rotors. They all do that really so unless you move to CCBs...

I haven't seen any pictures that show the seatbelts that did not have the M stripe.

My E70 X5M rotors don't rust anywhere as badly these do. No need for CCBs if they just get it right.

I'm just here to express my extreme displeasure with hilarious badging on this car. If I had known BMW was going to be sticking 19 M badges on 37 models starting in 2014 I'd have bought stock in the plastics company that makes the emblems.

What is up with the Silver Aluminum Roof Rales? They NEED to be in Black to match the trim or deleted. I prefer mounting a Thule rack directly to the roofs frame.

I thought this was taken care of?

The convoluted rear badging has to go. We get the black is the Competition Package, it doesn't need to say "competition", it looks ridiculous. And yes I love the badging to be in Black. But less is more!

And the pricing listed is not for the correct vehicle that's on display, right?

Interesting, now that the configurators are live on the US site, they do not show the M seat belts. I guess I can sort of understand that the carbon fiber package is coming later but why would they need to wait for the seatbelts?

It's a small thing, but I hope that mine comes with the M seat belts, they add a nice touch imo.

edit: So I did recheck the order guide and it shows '4GQ M Seat Belts' as standard equipment.

Correct, the price shown is the base MSRP for an X3M (not Competition) without any options and (I believe) including freight

The Canadian configurator is showing "Black High Gloss Roof Rails" as a no-cost option

https://www.bmw.ca/content/bmw/marke...onfig/OPTIONS/

EDIT: Just saw the US configurator is live and showing the X3M with black roof rails,so I assume black is standard. No other color option shown for roof rails.

Also not a fan of the multiple badges. I'll probably leave the M but not the other two. Would also like to remove the fake breather 'X3M' like the second picture shows, but that'll probably take after-market items (or maybe the CFRP parts in August will be simpler and without badges).

From the horrible badging to the non-descript body panels, very disappointed in the X3M from a visual perspective.

I could be wrong, but the calipers look like the same ones that come on the M40i.
Is that true?

Can’t wait!

I love my M40! So much so, I put name on the list at my dealer for an X3 M. Yes, before you ask, of course with the competition package 😂! My wife gets the M40. I am really surprised to find no online reviews or test drives this close to release however, aside from the generic press release type thing. And, most posts were back in February. Apparently, nobody has driven it or even has good sound video. Just the stock company footage mixed in with still shots overdubbed with night club music... Anyone have any good links? Wondering if they are taking the list at dealerships to see if demand is there... Maybe if they can’t fill enough orders, they’ll end up scrapping it... Thank God they don’t make ya sign anything... just give a build code. So who knows, even the people who work at the dealership don’t have any clue. A few sales folks didn’t even know they were making one (a couple weeks ago). The only guy who knows anything is the guy taking orders. So...
