Fuel filter with pressure regulator
Looking at fuel filters, anyone purchase one of the ones off fleabay? Seeing pricing all over the place from FCPEuro being ~$115 to like $40 on ebay.
Anyone have experience or is this one of those items to buy OEM? |

I was wondering the same thing
I just picked up an X3 with 88K on it and was going to do the usual maintenance items on it and a fuel filter is one of them. WHere's it at? attached to the pump?

07+ its inside the tank, connected to the pump. It's not that hard to replace just you have to open the tank from under the rear bench and unclip. Cost for an OEM filter is $130, ebay is like 30-40$ |

Its an 06. When I look up fuel filter for the car it comes up with the integrated pump/filter in the tank. Are you saying there is an external filter on the frame rail or somewhere on the underside of the car?

Don't think this is anymore of a PITA than replacing the fuel pump on the E46 which sits in the tank too which is very easy. Is there something I am not aware of?

Most vehicles don't have the filter in the tank but along the rails as said earlier. Just wondering how access is to the tank etc and what the filter setup looks like.
