@OP you did make it hard for yourself - without pics its a pointless post, but you have sorted that and I can see on the X4 it looks OK.

pokerface: Thanks for INFO. Since you are somewhat higher in front, you should be less riding on bumpstops. I have still to check with 18" wintertires- summer is 20" RFT:s

After driving for a month, I have got used to the harsher ride, AND better stability AND better steering.
Still - if you are sensitive to ride comfort and driving a lot on bad roads - don`t do it. 20", RFT, adjustable dampers in Sport. |

I have now been driving for about three months and can give you my final evaluation.
I am very happy with the looks and performance - it now looks and performe exactly as I had anticipated. Obviously there has been some deterioration of chassis comfort, but it is not obvious during everyday driving. I am normally driving on roads with good surfaces - it might be a problem in areas like New York, Detroit and Ireland. |

Lotus99 , there is the thread for it with some information:
http://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showth...1027341&page=2 Tjalle , Handling is still very good and very sporty. Chassis comfort is still good for me, of course it's harder than usual, but also the 22" wheels make them harder. But I like the hard and sporty feeling. Don't exactly understand what you mean with "wheel alignment"? :-/ |

Richi, you have lowered your car about 75 mm. This means that your suspension is in the position it should have if you jumped half a meter - straight up - and at landing. In a perfect world with perfect suspension, the wheel alignment is as STD, but in reality your wheel alignment has changed slightly - which could have an impact on tire wear.
I did not check wheel alignment after my lowering - and I can see nor feel any problem. |

I go through tires on my 335i every 3000 to 6000 miles . I type this as I'm sitting at discount tire looking at lowering threads !
