Absolutely beautiful in that red. That color needs to be available throughout all model lines

Absolutely lovely car. Now just giving me an All-Electric version of this with a 300-400 mile range and you can have my money BMW. Or at least let us damned Americans have M40d!!! Lol!

Although I suspect the future full X4///M will be pretty badass!

Definitely seeing a similarity in the tail lights to the 8 series concept also at Geneva. Wondering if this will be the design language for new models moving forward?

In a word. Yes. This is what I have read in terms of what's to come for future BMW models. Although I believe the next gen G20 3-Series won't get this design language.

I hope not, but yes I'm afraid that this however will be the design of the future BMW models (probably except the 3 series). These new rear lights are the main part which bothers me on the new models. It just looks kinda cheap, not german design style, but more asian or french. I'm not one of the "BMW is offering only crap these days and everything was better in the past" guys, but I really hate these new rear lights.

SMH. You do realize it's a SUV (or SAV as BMW calls it) not a 4 door sedan, 2 door coupe, station wagon, race car, motorcycle, Big wheel, etc... If that's the only thing you have a complaint about, like someone else said, lower it when you get one.

I may get this car just off of practicality.

It's not half bad. And sure it hauls ass. Could be good in the snow and good with potholes bad roads and such. Plus the new chassis and handling. Count me in

I'm sorry I dislike these - whatever they're called this week - cars and this is a particularly bad example of the genre. Sad to see BMW's fanfare, do get the market growth and profit angle though.
Just make sure you build some good cars with the euro's you pile up.......

Whoever is responsible for affixing the rear badges must be really short.

+1. you beat me to it.

I DO like this vehicle much better in not- red. The taillights and rear look better..

Personally.. I can't stand the hide-the-hatch-and-make-it-appear-to-be-a-trunk styling. i'lll take the X3 instead

Agree on the 40d (or any diesel option) for both models.

Jesus God, this is horrible. Why is the new design theme for the X's that ridiculously happy face? And the massive grille? Why?! Car is looking more Asian than ever before.

It's an X4 not an M4. Wheel gap is the whole point. That's how X's work, along with all other cross-overs and SUV's/SAV's.

Edit: Sorry, just saw you already got light up by 4 other board members for making that comment. Didn't mean to add on to it.
