EIBACH PRO-KIT for X3M

Has somebody experience with the Eibach Pro Kit? Has somebody allready installed them?
As I have found on the internet, that the car will be lowered 25mm all around by getting more comfort.
https://www.eibach.de/en/news/detail...eibach-pro-kit

As MSS has no approval for switzerland, it's not an option for me.

What does it mean no approval? Nicht zugelassen or what?

I saw this a couple weeks ago and decided reached out to Motech Performance about this part and they basically told me they couldn't help and to try a local Eibach dealer. I then called Eibach N. America product support and they couldn't find the part in their catalog either, so who knows at this point.

Exactly in Switzerland they are even more strict than in Germany. As long as you dont have an general importer for a product/brand it's hard to get parts legalized.

Strange...because they have already made at least one install...
I will try to reach Eibach support in Germany....

I guess you seen this thread
https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1759644

doesnt say much but the spacer on the rear kinda put me off a bit. Was tempted to try this myself over the MSS kit....was waiting to see if more people tried it first.

r33_RGSport has tested the HR springs. They are not as soft as MSS.

While I don't know the numbers of stock springs or AC springs, I feel the AC springs made the car ride less harsh.

Yes, Tnx. I think r33_RGSport said the H&R felt a bit "softer" than stock but not like MSS. I'm curious if others felt the same.

In general, Eibach is firm and less drop.
H&R is more drop, smooth on small road imperfection, but kick you on the butt when there is sudden compression.

AFAIK, ACS uses Eibach to make the spring. Not 100% sure if they are the same spring rate, but I am 90% sure they are.
Both ACS and Eibach on F15 X5 looks, drop, and feels the same.

Hamann uses H&R to make the spring, details not really sure. I have yet to install Hamann spring.

OK, found the bit i remembered on the Eibach
https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...postcount=1338

And regarding ACS, this is from Lorcan (Rossiters UK Dealer)
"The ride comfort will be about the same as stock. AC Schnitzer tried a softer spring but it made the high speed handling worse. Unfortunately the relatively high centre of gravity on an SUV means the suspension has to be fairly stiff to make them handle. An M3 can actually be more comfortable and handle better."

Not the engineering, that's what they claimed.

I wish I knew which was most ideal for our cars. Right now I'm debating between H&R & MSS...
