I realize this advice is easy to give and hard to follow, but I will offer it anyway.
You chose your preferred car model and spec for good reasons. You likely spent a significant amount of time figuring out exactly what you wanted before committing to a deal. It would be a great shame to let all that go due to an unanticipated delay. I do understand that the delay is very frustrating, and I can't honestly say I would be any less pissed if I were in your shoes. However, I would much rather live with the delay in the short term than live with a lesser choice of car for several years. Whatever you choose I wish you luck and good mental health until it is resolved |

I must be very lucky. My dealer just phoned to say mine has just arrived and am picking it up this afternoon. Sorry about the op situation but unless you can find a stock car probably best sitting tight with your order.

My other concern is that the 29th March comes and goes and we still have a no deal or an extension and BMW turn around and say that they are still not shipping Last edited by Weebs; 03-13-2019 at 02:35 AM.. |

got a message on the weekend from my BMW dealer to say that mine is on a boat (or maybe in a port) not entirely sure from where or how long it'll take but I'm quite enjoying thrashing my current car in anticipation!

If it's any consolation, the Oyster could be a pain to keep clean. I have a similar color on my outgoing X5 and I switched to black for my M40i for that reason. I don't think I'll ever do a light color leather again.

(New member) Which I posted spec on this forum 'Whats my build' last week.
Lucky for me, ordered 15 January promised delivery end of March early April and just had confirmation today from my BMW dealer, that car had arrived from Spartenburg & now on way via transporter. So have arranged to pick up next Wednesday midday....Must say a lot quicker build & delivery than my last suv (VW Tiguan) two years ago which took just over 4 months, and the 'main thing' ..No Brexit surcharges....Phewww Last edited by Slashers 28th/61st; 03-19-2019 at 11:27 AM.. |

If so import duty shouldn't be a issue as there should already be duty of 10% on cars manufactured in USA coming to EU so if we do leave without a deal that in theory should only go up by 0.6% We never see this cost as duty is paid by the importer on their cost price and not the consumer on list price, there is also a anomaly that there is no duty on imports from Rosslyn but they don't discount the price I can't see them changing prices after agreed unless something specific is in place, there maybe updated price lists if we do leave for new orders though to average it out |
