Thanks for updates! Curious if anyone knows from past years, how long before the website is updated to order a MY2020 . Looking at replacing my '17 X3 later this year

Carplay could still be a trial, the difference is that every car will have it without needing to upgrade to a package

Next questions if you don't mind....

With the move to live cockpit will the traffic jam assist be upgraded to "extended traffic jam assist" from the new 3 and x5? (Allows hands free driving in traffic)

Is remote start buried in the "connected services pro" bundle?

I think you can add Galvanic (chrome-look) controls as standard.

Exactly. Every car essentially has "CarPlay preparation". BMW will give you a 1 year trial in hope that you won't be able to live without it and pay for it in the 2nd and 3rd year.

The same is true for the new 1-Series. Every car has CarPlay preparation.

I think, for the 'extended traffic jam assist', you may need the Driving Assistance PRO Package. I think that requires the camera module at the top of the Digital Dash that watches drivers face to make sure driver is "attending" to road. I haven't seen that camera modual in any X3 photos yet released.

Jay,

When are 2020 allocations coming out for x3. They are out for X5 M50. Production starts in 4 weeks

If you order one - you should know the engine and the seats availability..
Priority 1 options like individual leather?

What is the new 19" wheel option, Style 693? that's for non m40i cars only, i don't think there's any new 19" option for the M40i? The carbon fiber trim is interesting. I've got 2 years left on my M40i lease but like the car so much that I'm thinking of repeating come lease end, which is unheard of for me. Wouldn't mind seeing some more color/wheel options.

Curious if anyone has heard anything else about the possible upgrade to B58TU engine for the US? That is essentially the only thing that would push me to cancel my ordered MY2019 and wait for the MY2020...
