2 hours factory tour was all booked, so opted for 1 hour (what's missing is the tour of the paint booth).

Made my day, after seeing the X3 M Competition sitting at the final QA line, LHD.

Then someone came with mullet hammer and a sheet of paper, sticked that piece of that paper in a gap, and saw him hammer the body panel under driver side mirror with that mullet hammer... WTF...

Then the same person opened driver side door, and gave top edge a pull/tug as if trying to make better fitment (???). Good grief.........

Of course what was worse is after seeing X3 M40i in museum with side door trim moldings fit "flushed"...

Few handful of X3M and X4M rolling in their lines, definitely good times for those owners!

Didn't check if gap(s) in weather strips on panoramic roof.

Anyway, some pointless photos below to share ...

At the end of the day, the free cookie made everything alright...

Can't wait to have my turn in 11 days, adding the pickup of my X3 M40i and a day of driving on the track and the off road course. Thanks for sharing.

This place isn't random anymore but I really like taking pictures here. This is after 2 days of work applying numerous coats of Shine Armor products:[IMG]undefined[/IMG]

You can still see the haze on the back window. They should change their motto to: If you rub anything hard enough for long enough, it will probably shine.

I did 20% on the fronts to match the rear and put 50% on the front windshield. I started doing the windshield a few cars back. Still no problems with cops for 4 years here in San Diego.

Here's an old one in my folks neighbors backyard (very random). I don't take as many pics of my car like I used to. Maybe because I only wash it like once a month.. or two 🤦🏽
