Why the us x3 msport steering wheel is not m style
Greetings
I purchased a 2019 x3 msport 30i and the steering wheel is a regular one (not m style). After watching a lot of videos i decided to buy the msport package ( not m40i ) and the steering wheel is a regular one, not like the videos that have the m style. Iam sure that the reviews i saw were 30i with msport package and the steering wheels was the one with the m at the bottom. Does that is a us build issue only? |

Early models had the M Sport wheel option on the 30i. Mid 2018 onwards, this changed to be ONLY available on the M40i (US markets).

On the M Sport Line (30i) 2019 they also removed the "M" badges located above the fake air vents on the sides, at least for Canadian cars I guess. :/

X3 and the 2018 M Sport 30i there has the M sport wheels and the M badges if I recall it right. I'm not sure about the 2019 models though. Last edited by TheMooseMan; 02-15-2019 at 10:27 AM.. |

Yup, I have a 2018 30i msport and no m badges on the fender. Only have them on the wheels and door sills. The Canadian X3's get more content than the US ones (display key, merino leather, ambient air)

Was a similar issues for G3x models, some M-sport models arrived with the standard sport steering wheel, rather than the M-sport. Was a very expensive fix (on the paperwork), when any users insisted on it being changed over, on or after delivery.
