Up-badged to make it seem like a X3 MC. Looks like exhaust is just a 28i or 30i. 50 bucks to buy this badge from eBay. I’m fairly confident it’s NOT an X3 MC but just a poser. I don’t have an issue with this as long as he does not try to sell in as an MC. Hit the gas and everyone will know 😁

You guys are totally wrong, he even has an M License plate cover!
Lol jk. This will have a different rear bumper as well as smaller wheels and tires. If this guy truly wanted to make it look correct he would need everything people have listed as well as the other M Comp badge near the shifter. I could be wrong, but I think the body panels on the side are different too as the M Comp has bigger wheels and tires and it flares out a bit more. |

That's not an X3M, this is an X3M!
I believe this was one of the early prototypes as you can see the ///M badge fading. BMW partnered with IND to paint the badges in newer models according to internet research |

Maybe the car identifies as a X3MC. It is a New York plate after all.

I'm not on other car forums, but is this a thing with other manufacturers too? Are people putting RS badges on their A3, AMG badges on an E 350, etc? |

You cannot really blame someone for up-badging their car. After all, it does add 50 more horsepower and increases the top speed. If only BMWs would have Honda's VTEC available... |

Not quite an M car but actually saw this POS when I lived in PA. The best is he took 4 spots because god knows he does not want it scratched….Yes, the stripes are hand painted duct tape!

I don't get it myself either. I can understand putting an STi wing on a regular WRX though... Big wings make everything better! |
