I'd like to bump this thread and add one more word of caution... I am not sure if it only applies to RHD though.
Remove and disconnect the glovebox light FIRST (before removing the glovebox) by prying the side further away from that spring pin down, otherwise you risk damaging the wiring harness. The wire is behind a plastic piece on the dash where the screws are secured to, and trying to pull the glovebox out will break the connector (and mine did). When you re-install the dash you will realise that the light wiring harness is in the way as well. Now I have a hard time trying to find that connector. It's an AMP TE 968813-1 |
