What did you drive before buying new x3/x4
I'm curious what everyone was driving before thier new x3/x4, I traded in a 2017 bmw m240i convertible, I loved the car , it was fun, loved dropping the top and was off , but it was not practical, this is my first suv, I looked at the x1, and x2, I thought the x1 looked a bit old as far as the dash, and the x2 a bit tight, almost like the convertible but with a roof, after 6 months, I still find my x3 30i still fantastic, I don't miss the b58 engine

435i 6sp. Still have it and love it.
The SUV before the X3 was an E53 X5 4.6is.

I sold my 2017 Audi A4 Allroad Prestige to a private buyer.
I had a 2018 Audi A4 Allroad Prestige before that one; was rear ended in an accident and totaled.

2019 Audi A3. Nice little car, but we realized after a bit that it just wasn’t big enough - to cart around our two labradors. LOL! Yeah, we added our 2nd “pup” after we had the A3, so now it’s time time to add some more room - and power!

2011 MSport wagon. Ordered it from the factory RWD and no roof rails. Pretty much forced over to the dark side first by limited engine options for the US wagon, and then BMW deciding to ditch bringing wagons across the pond altogether...

I had a 2018 X1 x drive with M sport package in BSM with black Boston leather. Traded it in two weeks ago for a 2020 AW x3 M40i with beige vernasca.
Huge change of pace (pun intended) and loving it so much.

Sold my 2017 440i Grand Coupe with 9k miles on it last month while the used car sales were hot. Now I wait for my week 32 build x3 m40i which is the hardest part.

A 2004 Toyota 4 Runner (bought used in 2006) will be on the market once my “week 32” build makes it across the Pacific Ocean. It’s got 94.5K/mi and has been absolutely trouble free as a do everything vehicle

I found an old post here that reminded me that my 440i was weeks 35 build. We had waited a couple extra week to get Apple CarPlay the first week it was out & added to the production line.

Worst issues I had with any of them… dead battery, and a rear tailgate strut went bad (fixed under warranty). That was it. Built like tanks. |
