I just posted to your other thread on this, not sure why you created a second thread on the same topic.

Hi,

This is a general discussion as I don't think it's unique to my F26 X4 35d.

What are the chances if I get a brand new BMW OEM Part # 64116826346 and replace the existing will the BMW XAUC SENSOR error in ISTA+ will go away?

I've read some have replaced the sensor and still get the error message.

I've only just replaced my original 105Ah AGM with a Varta Silver Dynamic AGM 95Ah so low battery voltage shouldn't be an issue.

Fault Code Description The fault entry describes detection of an internal fault in the automatic air recirculation control sensor.

Fault Code Conditions General Conditions Supply voltage between 10.5 and 16 volts. Terminal Condition Terminal 15

C90D60 AUC sensor: internal sensor fault - SOLVED

Hi,

Was just about to order a new BMW OEM Part # 64116826346 for about US$100 shipped to Australia and chance it would fix the BMW XAUC SENSOR error in ISTA+ but decided to try something.

I removed the XAUC Sensor and got some 240 grit wet/dry sandpaper, used dry and folded a piece so it was about 1/4" wide and 2" long and moved it around so I could sand each of the 3 pins, re-attached and no more ISTA+ c90d60 error bmw from JBBE ECU.

Just to give the 3 pins some protection against corrosion, I sprayed just a little WD40 Water Resistant Silicone Lubricant spray on the 3 pins and plug, the silicone spray can says it protects metal from corrosin.
