I have 35K on my X3 M40i and it is about time for brakes. The dealer wants $2700 and I am sure there is some huge inflation in that so I am looking for advice and recommendations for options.

Sounds about right. My front replacements on the X3M were just under 1500. Luckily I was concerned by warranty for warping.

You can go aftermarket or go online and looks for lower prices....

How many miles did you have on your x3m before warping occurred? Was your car tracked at all? Just curious!

Was that warranty purchased or covered under the basic bumper to bumper warranty?
