Are the changes between 2014-1 and 2014-2 known?

I installed 2014-1 and suspect the differences to 2014-2 are minor. However, I do not know for sure and do not want to lose out on something worthwhile simply because I made an incorrect assumption.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to know what was added. It's always new roads, POI's and improvements to the routing algorithm. Those living in areas with ongoing construction would benefit more from those in mature areas.

Is there still a preference as to which size / how many usb sticks you use for this process? Is it preferred to use 3 x 8gb sticks or may I use one 16gb? or even one 16gb and one 8gb, depending on the size of the files.
