2) can i code the wing mirrors to fold in on lock. i have on my 435d?

3) can stereo be coded to switch off when door opens. again done thin on my car?

I can confirm that the rear doors on my 17 X3 don't have the comfort access sensor on the external door handles.

You are right about the comfort access it only works on the front doors however you don't have to physically open the front door just put your hand between the door and the handle to activate the unlock.

Cannot help with the other two queries as I know nothing about coding however on mine if i hold the lock button on the fob the wing mirrors fold in (not sure if this is an option though!)

You can almost code fold on lock!

Mine used to be that you needed to hold the lock button for a second or two, then the mirrors fold.

Ive coded it and now you need to hold the button for about a quarter of a second for the fold.....thats about as good as it gets!

I live in the US and recently purchased a 2016 X3 with comfort access.

The rear doors do not have sensors but you can program (in iDrive) all four doors to unlock in you unlock a front door.

The rear hatch will also open with a strategically placed wave of the foot. I look very strange waving my foot around trying to get the rear hatch open; only get it right half the time.

Hope this helps,
George

Not sure if the foot waving technique works on msport models, I am sure I read somewhere that the msport bumper does not allow the system to be fitted

Your right mate, Msport owners are spared the "look like a pillock" footwave!!

yea her problem is she wont use teh keys with comfort access so holding a button wont work.

im shocking just locking the car with the sensor cant set the auto fold off to be honest.

You can still fold the mirrors by holding your finger on the sensor on the door handle
