I got a 2020 SE. You can slide in up to 7.5".

No FOB interference for both the 2020 & 2022.

So if you get these types of wireless chargers then the only installation you need to do is plug it into the cigarette lighter. No wiring required? Correct?

Not sure IF a charging pad is worth the effort or price. I bought a small coiled cable that plugs into the usb port under the sliding cover. It takes all of 1 second to plug the cable into my phone and still gives me room for sunglasses etc. in the same compartment.

I like charging pads for home use but not so much for the car.

Been using this one from Amazon for a couple weeks. It works via USB so it doesn't charge quickly but it certainly holds the charge level of your phone steady at least.

Also, I think the fact that it doesn't utilize the cigarette lighter port gives it a cleaner look since the whole thing sits in front of the cup holders. Not crazy about the look of the ones that have the additional piece of plastic that bisects the cup holders.

So, so far so good...

I got the same one and aside from maybe taking up some of that storage space, it works fine and meshes well with the interior. The wireless charger in my Telluride charges at roughly the same speed.

Works perfectly for i13 Pro Max with the slim case. Plenty of room for this big phone. Fast charging too

Before I got Pro Max, I had a smaller phone and used the different charger from Amazon

I got the same one, never happened in either the 2020 or 2022 using an Apple iPhone SE and 6S.

Why does this design exclude the iPhone 12? I've seen that limitation for a couple of these chargers.

I ask, thus extending the madness, because I'm about to get an iPhone 13 Pro, which I think is simply too new to get listed in the specifications for these chargers, and I need to believe that they will be compatible.

Thus, I am trying to understand what exactly determines compatibility between a phone and a charger, and, for example, why the iPhone 12 is incompatible.

Sorry to hear, mine work without any interference in my 2020 and 2022. Someone else on this board had a similar problem but don't know what was the conclusion.

There is a 12v socket in the trunk (package depending), you could try it there to see if it does the same or if you know someone else with a X3 you could try it there.

You got a time window to open a "dispute" with AliExpress.

After re-reading this, there should be no relationship between the wireless charger and the inability to remote start. When the signal for remote start signal is sent, the wireless charger is off so it can't interfere. Maybe you should retry again.
