New to this forum. Hello all BMW enthusiasts!
I’m a fairly new owner of a 2011 X3. Love the car. It has a couple issues maybe someone has had experience with the same ones.

1) Very rarely it will start to make a high pitch squeal. Pull over, turn off 90%of the time it stops. No idea where it’s coming from.

2) Last Christmas Day we are going to visit family. Go out start the car it’s not running normally. Change cars, call mechanic he puts it in the scope and basically there are a few thing we can live with. Suggests we change out the computer ( or something like that). Works some magic and we get the car back. Drives fine. The issue is I’m afraid to drive it. I’ve had it running every week since getting it back. I’ve driven it around the neighborhood 3-4 miles earlier this week. I’m a little nervous to drive to far and I’d like to sell it with complete disclosure about the issue. Anyone experienced something like this?
I’d really rather keep it of fix and sell. Help!!!
I’m open to suggestions.

Sorry to hear you are facing problems!
I would suggest to post this in the X3 part of the forum, not the iX3 part.
I don't think we can be of much help, as we are all driving full electric iX3's...
