The drivers switched the cars after the first race. Basically, same driver won both races.

Shows how fool proof the Jeep is, same exact time with two different drivers... two very different times with two different drivers on the X4M.

Shows it's not doing that much with the other 190hp if you ask me, a 600hp X4M would have walked the trackhawk a 700hp one would have embarrassed it.

Factor in weight, it’s not all about HP

Don’t care about M4, a 800 hp Corvette would have annihilated all, it sure what that has to do with anything. Different engine, different drivetrain, different set up.

The X4 definitely has the weight advantage on its side. Would be interesting to see the X4/3 go up against the likes of an RSQ8/X5M.

miss type X4M not M4

TH still betters the X4M power to weight ratio at circa 290hp vs 250hp per metric tonne and has another 200lbs of torque as well, so the question still remains what the hell is it doing with it all, plus the point where the X4M reels the TH in is exactly the point where the weight matters less and the power starts to come into its own, so it's a strange one.

True, but you need to dig deeper, I bet the 328 coolers the X4M has to keep air temps down into the engine are far superior to the heat soak that is going on in the TH. Weight matters at 100+ along with aerodynamics.

Look at the X3M or X4M 0-150 times and the TH 0-150 times, after the 100 mark the TH slows down vs. the BMW due to weight (maybe aero?)

There's only about a 100 whp difference between the two, so that power to weight gap is closer than you think.

It's not a case of thinking it's clear to see.

The X3M is a bit banzai the top end is silly strong, the car feels faster at 50mph WOT than at 0mph WOT, a serious piece of kit.

I do not subscribe the free horse power dogma that infects these forums but I think the X3m is putting out more than it appears.

I found myself overtaking a few cars the other night on full throttle on a country road, it was ballistic I was like oh shit!

Agree but based on the logs and info online the X3/4 is superior to the TH

No doubt. That's why my wife bought one. LC rules.

The X4M has a stage two throttle pedal system.

First in its class

The TH is impressive, but wouldn't a matchup with an X5/6 be more appropriate? That supercharged V8 is cool but the X4's interior is a better place to be.

Agreed, waiting on someone to put an X3/4M up against it's bigger brothers (X5/6M). Just for interest sake.
