No beeping when lock/unlock?
Today, I notice my car no longer beep when I lock/unlock the car. I remember I heard it before. If I remember correctly, the beep didn't happen before too, but it came back. Now it doesn't beep anymore. I checked and everything is locked (tailgate, hood, etc.). These are little things I don't usually pay attention to, but I think I heard it beep when I lock/unlock the car before.
Not sure if it's related but 2 days ago, I walked away from my car with my key fob and car engine still on, and when I came back, the car alarm went off. I pressed unlock on the key fob to deactivate the alarm. Also, I have premium package. |

I believe there is a setting in the car where you can set if it beeps when locking/unlocking. I don't remember the exact setting but it should be there somewhere. I'd check for you but my car is in for service at the moment.

Not an option on my pre LCI. Also find it annoying that lock flashes the indicators twice and unlock only once. Sometimes I wonder if I did lock it as miss the one quick flash. Would make more sense to be the opposite way around.

Thanks for the reply guys.
I tried to uncheck and check "Acoustic sig. when lock" in the Door Setting, but that didn't work. In the end, I tried pressing panic button to set off the alarm then press any button on the key fob to turn it off. It worked and the beep is back. Maybe last time, when my alarm went off, it confused the car. This car is weird lol. |

I think I remember reading somewhere that the alarm needs to be "reset" after a trigger. The loss of accoustic confirmation is actually a notification that an event took place.

Thank you for the solution. I had the same problem, resolved by the using the key-fob panic button!
