Soooo....Apparently I need to get some Plantation 20...

Meanwhile, new tasty treat here, Jefferson's Ocean Bourbon.
Aged on the sea, they say.

Turns out, it's freaking delicious! I like it better than Angel's Envy. Super smooth, tasty finish. I like it a lot.

I'll keep an eye out for that. I've been enjoying Gentleman Jack on the rocks for a few nights.

I know right!

I was sipping Four Roses Small Batch then switched to this:
-Four Roses is super smooth, good tasting bourbon
-The Ocean stuff stomps it though

Tonight's sipping is mint and 3 other plants steeped in hot water with coca leaves hanging out with Pachamama in Peru

We might get a bottle of wine too

For some reason I decided to buy a bottle of Laphroig just to mix it up from the usual type of scotch I stick to.

I forgot just how peaty it is. The first 3 sips were a little rough, but after that, my tastebuds threw in the towel and the rest was just fine.

My haul for today. Hope this Ocean stuff is good. At $80/btl, it better be. I'm in the mood for pineapple tonight, though.

Cracked open the Jefferson's Ocean tonight. Not bad at all. A tad smokier than the Gentleman Jack I usually drink, but still quite smooth and drinkable. Good find.

I keep bouncing back between Jefferson Ocean and Four Roses Small Batch. Love both. Makes Woodford seem "sub par".

It's Cusquena. Get it right. Peruvian wine sucks. The best they have is the semi-secco...which is a sweet red. I don't like sweet wine but I have had plenty of Sangrias with it in Peru.

Remember, I'm an expert on Peru drinks and food.
The most popular beer is Cristal, but, if you can find it go for Pilsen Callao--that being said I would take a Cusquena over Cristal. Also, just to toss it at you, have you tried the soda Inca Cola? Tastes like Juicy fruit gum. I've never figured out how to mix it, but maybe you will.
