Hi,

Had my X4 35d lowered using H&R Springs 28926-1 for BMW X3 F25 X3 + X3 M40i X4 F26 incl X4 M40i, they say drop by 35mm but at this stage it's more like 25mm front/back, it's only been 3 days so hopefully it will drop at least another 5mm.

The X4 looks much better, looks more like a car coupe rather than a TRUCK coupe.

Had wheel alignment done today, rear wheels where out a lot but expected, after alignment wheels are pretty much back at standard for toe/camber.

Got the springs from TunerShop, best price I could find and even didn't have to pay import duties or GST to Australia.

Ride is only slightly firmer but I found original springs to be a little bouncy, cornering is far superior with H&R.

Hi,
  1. Looks much better, sleeker and sportier
  2. Handles a lot better

I can understand the X3 having greater ground clearance, but the X4 being a coupe, should look a little sportier.

Ride is similar to stock springs but cornering is a lot tighter.

I hated the gap from top of tyre to wheel arches, now it's been halved.

Handles better at high speeds on smooth roads. Yes. On slow, bumpy roads you feel like you're driving an 1984 corolla... have fun with that! I'll keep my ass comfy and smooth.

It *looks* like someone who can't get over the fact that they wanted a 4 series... its still an SUV, regardless of cargo capacity.. the shit needs to BOUNCE over pot holes... throw on some 20", lower it to the floor and then go spend a few days in Manhattan for example... it's retarded.

Cars need to FUNCTION, and look good.
