That's whay I was thinking too. Full lether is the one interior feature in the M3/M4 that makes it feel special from the lesser variants. Senatec looks and feels cheap. no better than injection mould foam which is at least honest about what it is.

The seats are stunning but the backs look a big dissapointing. On a positive note the white one looks very good and could be improved on with dark chrome exhaust tips.

kill two birds with one stone. take the one out of the center console and replace the back badge with it.

proceed to put old badge from the back on another vehicle make so you make the fake badges thread on the g8x forum.

M logo and probably protective tape. My F80 had tape on it although I don't recall if it was black.

I wish BMW will come back to a better headliner material instead of that pantyhose material and the option of getting a full lighter interior if desired including headliner (I love light interiors all around). That's what luxury means BTW. I would also like to see a proper panoramic roof interior sunshade, not that cheap saggy cloth!

I guess to protect from scratches? The backlit logo in the driver’s seat back also had black tape on it.

White doesn't help either. Even an M3 and M5 look tame in white.

I just received my X3 M40i, and compared to my private X4 M40i (previous model) the sound is very disapointing.

I have one of the first model x4 m40i and just love the sound. I placed order for X4m. Are you saying the new models don’t have as deep a sound? That’s mainly my concern. Every time they switch the engine they change the tone and not always for the better.

Nice from the side but seems kind of narrow from the front and rear views. Probably could have benefited more from some flared fenders. Like the seats but not a fan of the overly busy dash board. Kind of contrived with all the red buttons. Eager to see the road tests and comparos.
