Wheel Lock Nuts X3 M40i
Hi
Does anyone know if the X3 M40i comes standard with BMW wheel lock nuts out of the factory? I am particularly interested in the version shipped to Australia. Thanks for your help. |

The oem bolts are made by Mcgard, the UHS (ultra high security) ones, so buy them direct from Mcgard to save money over buying from BMW. |

My X3 was built in late Sept. and did not come with them. I got BWM oem ones on ebay, new, for $30. The dealer told me that they were not part of the build.

The key was in a special holder underneath the floor of the cargo area, where the mini spare would go if you had one. |

Your dealer did this. Good for them. They sound like a decent dealer.

My dealer supplies them; nothing on the invoice showing an extra charge for them, so assuming they were supplied free of charge - they've done this for all my vehicles

OK seems like they don't come with any which is just plain dumb when you consider the price of rims with tyres.
Would anyone have the correct BMW part number for the recommended wheel lock nuts for a X3 M40i...according to RealOEM it is 36 1 32 453 961 (supersedes the previous 36 1 36 792 851). Thanks for your help. |
