BS! Before you call anyone a liar you really need to have your facts straight. Non ethanol gas will give you 20-25% better fuel economy. That is a fact. 22.9 MPG was my average over 9600 miles, believe it or don’t but don’t say I or anyone else is lying without facts.

….Off soapbox now 😉

There are many variables to consider for best mpg.
I got 20 mpg at best during a 100% highway driving but there were a lot of hills, trunk pretty much full with luggage and family of 3 inside on a road trip. It was raining for many hours and windy as well. Think 420 miles was the best range I’ve seen on a tank.

You are a liar.

If you have to use special gas or other things to get better MPG then that is not good advice to give someone who is wondering what their MPG will be in this car.

I want to start seeing pics of everyone's MPG for the life of the car, not a point in time that they told the ECU to start calculating.

If you are worried about MPG then a M model may not be the best option. I don't know about anyone else, but when I drive a M I drive it hard lol, I mean that's why you get the M car to push it right

I have had a x3M for a brief 2 week time and I think I was getting somewhere in the 15-17 range if I had to guess. I could see if you were cruising HWY and right conditions you could get in the low 20s but for me I mostly did city stop and GOOOOOO driving

You struggle with the English language I see. In my original post I say I use non ethanol 93. I did not say I get 22.9 on regular 91 ethanol That is not special gas but it’s not available in every state.

Are you now the mileage Nazi? How dare you ask for proof from anyone? What are you gaining by calling people out?

So you can comprehend what I put in my first post here it is again for your learning disability.

“Over 9600 miles I averaged 22.9 MPG. Lots of highway miles. About 6000 highway, 3000 rural and 600 miles in city traffic. I remember the avg because I checked it before I did a reset when I sold it. That was on 93 octane non ethanol. “

!!Troll alert!!🚨

This is from the BMW app which seems quite accurate from early manual logging.

80% highway driving, bought the car in December. Gas is usually Petro 91 or Shell 91, occasionally Petro 94.

In the 10 months since I bought my '21, I've burned through 246 gallons of gas at a total cost of $1,196. My average MPG is 18.8, with a high tank of 21.8mpg and a low tank of 17.1mpg. 91 gas from Costco or Kroger.

16.8 MPG over 800 miles in September, and that's during break-in. It's only gonna get worse from here.
