No, not me. Actually, I've referred people to many differnet Map Update sources over the years, and Gerry just happens to be the latest, and the best of them.

Not entirely. I get access to all BMW Coding and Programming files, and other BMW tools, and hard to get technical information. This I share with everyone, and I also use to code cars locally every Saturday and Sunday for free, and I connect remotely to cars all over the world, and fix them for free. So, I do quite a bit out of the kindness of my heart.

No problem. I only ask because BMW UK have seen the light in the UK with regards to people getting cheap lifetime codes and free map updates, by dropping their prices substantially to undercut these guys. Nothing like a bit of competition to liven them up eh?

In the UK we can get FSC codes to last 2 years (4 updates) and the maps all on line for £65 from BMW.

Yes, works for me. It's about time. Personally, i wish BMW provided them for free to all. Problem with official map update has always been the ridiculous price.

Do you mind me asking how remote coding works? Presumably, there is a physical connection to the OBD port - is that through a dongle, or via an internet connected laptop?

I have a 2011 335d, a 2012 X3 35i, and a 2015 X3 35i. I believe they all have been updated with the 2015 version. Is there any point in upgrading again now?

It requires owner still have Full Coding Laptop and a ENET Cable Connection to car, and then it is a simple WiFi TeamViewer session.
