Automatic trunk lid spindle drives replacement

Hi,
I had to replace both spindle drive for the trunk opening. I read in manual, that:
1.On replacement of the spindle drives, terminal 30g should be switched off.

2.After replacement of one or both spindle drives, the automatic luggage compartment lid actuation must be initialised. Use the service function ‘Initialise automatic luggage compartment lid actuation’.

My qustieons are:
1.how do I switch off terminal 30g (and what is it?)
2. How do I initialise the drives? Do I have to use E-sys?
Thanks

Sounds like you are on the right track, yes. The terminal 30g is probably a fuse or relay. You might be able to just yank it, or use an interfaced software to do it. And the initialization as well.

Hopefully someone has more info / details but I feel sure as mentioned you are on the right track.
