Mine's an F97, Oct build. Dealer made the code change about ~2-ish months ago

Thanks that is promising. I read in another thread that it wasn’t possible.

My dealer is closed until at least May due to the virus but I’m hoping they open around then and will take it in for the break in service and ask about this.

Yea I heard this is possible on the G01 but not on the F97.

I’ll ask when it’s time for my break-in service.
