I'll assume you were referring to me - cheers mate! Pic 4 is the M5CS steering wheel trim. I assume you were asking more about Pic 5, which is the VTT rear diff brace plate and Pic 6 is the JXB street bushing centre carrier.

The VTT brace (and bushing inserts for front and rear) is one option for the rear diff bolt bending/failing. Einhorn solid bushing is another, which I had prior to VTT.

The JXB carrier removes slop in the throttle feel and makes it seem more 'immediate'. It reduces the driveshaft oscillation on acceleration.

Yes (apparently I couldn't count on that day). Thanks for the explanation! Although I'd read about it the VTT rear diff brace on another thread, it just didn't look like what I was expecting. Thanks again.

Did you do the lock down and JXB yourself? Curious what your thoughts were on the installation (especially the JXB), if so. Both look relatively straight forward, but sometimes... aren't.

Also, if you're not keen on dropping $3,000 plus on KWs, you should consider BC coilovers. Just got mine on today and I am quite pleased. KW probably is still the best quality, not going to argue that. But for a third of the price, the BC coilovers are excellent.

Will be posting some pictures shortly. Cheers!

4.) Vargas Turbo differential lock down kit.

5.) Driveshaft carrier upgrade

Both are used for reducing drivetrain slop and are fantastic upgrades for the price

They both look like stout units. The VT looks like a direct bolt up. Does that driveshaft carrier require any modifications to the underbody / chassis... ?

It's interesting that these don't look a whole lot wider than the stock tires once they are mounted on the wheels. I thought there would be more sidewall bulge.

I agree visually they don’t appear that much different although the integrated rim protection in the sidewall is much more effective

Made the boot / trunk more dog friendly from our PWG, Reggie.

Don't want to start a new thread...

Anybody have any idea if there is a way to code the Sport+ sound/exhaust profile to the regular Sport engine setting?

I don’t see this new part available on the website? Does this fit the G01 as well?

Looks like it does fit the G01...
Here is the thread from earlier today announcing the new product, FYI:

I'm really tempted to pull the trigger too

I had it done at the mechanics given they had a lift.. I didn’t have the right tools lying around at home to diy but would have given it a go given how simple it is. It would have cost me more to buy the stuff needed to diy than what the shop charged me. From all the videos/manuals I read for install it’s doable at home for sure but a lot easier/quicker if the car is on a hoist.
I’ve thought that but the cost to buy bc coils here and getting shipped to Australia is almost just as much as buying kw here from existing kw stockists 😂 I’ve had a few more passengers sit in the car and all have noticed improvement in ride quality since the new wheels went on. I noticed a tiny improvement in ride harshness when the Eibachs went on but the improvement from lighter wheels was far, far greater. I test drive both the pre-lci and the lci comps back to back and you can easily tell that the lci is much better with dealing with ride harshness so I asked my local BMW parts dealer to check up part numbers and revisions to the suspension set up between both cars and to my surprise I was told there was no difference. So I then thought it’s likely the software tuning or the fact that there’s less sprung weight in the lci and I’m 99% sure that the lci 892M wheels are lighter than the 765M so thought I’d try that given I wanted a new set anyway. Boom! The lighter 21” wheels and tyres have drastically improved the ride and passengers have easily noticed too without me saying anything to them about the mods. Win-win!

Looks awesome and I’m jealous! Very tempting but I keep thinking to myself nobody will ever see engine dress up since I don’t go to events/shows etc.

Instead for now I’m currently talking to a vendor about a set of monoblick forged wheels trying to decide on color. 👀
