stock power is not enough after some time, once you have stage 2 at least it is more fun

Why M5 brakes pads? And X4M rotors? Are they different from X3M? Or did you install new / newish rotors to bed with the new pads?

How do the coilovers ride compared to stock?

Very interested in a similar build hopefully soon after finding more new parts. Specially for fuel as I'm already running out of fuel now.
Good luck

X5m brake pads, calipers from m4 comp, stock x3m rotors, m4 brake pads are smaller than x5m because rotor stock on x3m comes 395mm if i am not mistaken and 375mm on m4

Looks like a pretty sick build. And just to be clear the G80 calipers will fit on the factory rotors. But... you will need the brackets from the X5 M to make it work. So if you but the calipers from the M5 or M3, it would work. Trust me, I found out the hard way. If you want a plug & play OEM BMW brake upgrade, the X5 M calipers are the ones you need.

It's ridiculous that a vehicle can reach those sort of numbers with such a relatively low cost to upgrade... but I'm a fan lol

Suppose I'd be worried about all of the plastic on the top of our engines, the transmission, drivetrain, etc. Not sure there's been much testing done at those sort of power levels, but someone's gotta do it!

Best of luck, following...

you are right there about the brackets, i had those ordered from a private company that does brackets for any conversion, x5m calipers and pads will be hassle free on x3m rotors.

trying to find some ceramic rotors to have more trust to the brakes

X3M has xdrive system and trans from M5 F90, where it holds up to 850hp crank with no issues. we also had to enforce the trans on shop`s build 1200hp m4 comp and that`s pretty much it. for 900hp we hope everything will hold up.

iWrap_cars Nice build here. Simply wish you would've shown more photos of the bigger 6-piston calipers. And just so you know, the M3 & M4 calipers won't fit the F97 without the proper brackets. Only the X5 M calipers with fit these cars as a true plug & play.

What about driveshaft/axels? I heard some ppl's snapped on launch control on an e70 tune with stock turbos, around 700whp. Any plans for this?

I know of only one person who shredded a drive shaft. That can be mitigated by lowering peak power from launch. Not ideal but a solution till dss makes better stuff. Also the car that broke it made closer to 800WHP.
