Hi All! I'm new here and learning so much so quickly, this is a great forum. I just put in an order on January 2nd for a '23 X3 and it's showing as "Scheduled for Production". Does anyone know what the recent wait times are to go from Scheduled for Production to Production to Ready for Transport?

Really curious and eager to drive my first BMW!

Call BMW Genius with the production number and ask if it has a production week. I got an allocation on Jan 3, and they were able to see that I’m scheduled for production on Week 8 (week of Feb 20th). Website still only shows that the order has been received.

Search the forums for the chrome trick. You can find your prod date with this once you hit scheduled for production.

I called yesterday with my production number and was told I'm Week 6 or 02/06 - 02/10. Still at 'Order Received' in the tracker.

Ah, must be too early still. It shows all the details but production date and vin are still n/a.

I think it needs to be scheduled for production. Then you can see the vin and prod date. A few of us had prod dates move up about a week about 2 weeks before the original prod date.

You can also check all your option codes in developer mode.

I was told my Week 6 scheduled production was subject to change. Wishful thinking was it got pulled forward. Glad to hear there's a chance!

I first wrote to Genius, but they did not answer for three days, so I called. When I called, they said that I had the 4th production week and today I received a letter from Genius in which they say that it is scheduled for the end of January. Ordered for Christmas.

Are the already fitting the new curved display in x3 2023? Thats great. May i ask when did you order your car?

And i see you also got the driver assist professional as well, congrats!

I ordered my x3 30e in october with august 2023 delivery but havent got anything else from my dealer but the actual sales contract number (i am based in europe). How quickly you normally get the production number? Or any other number with which you can follow the process online? And do you get that from the dealer?

If you have a serial number, then you can put it on tracking on the BMW website in the "My BMW" section. After that, through the page manager in Chrome or any browser running on the Chromius engine, look at the list of options that are in your order. The main thing is that nothing is deleted later when the status of the order changes and the machine goes to assembly and quality control.
Look for threads describing how to do this via F12 or incognito browsing.

In the USA, you also receive only a report on the request for a car and a receipt for payment)))
After agreement, I received a report on the request to sign the car to be sent back to the dealer in two days with a serial number, which can be used to view the options in the order in more detail. The order was made before the Christmas weekend, signed on December 21st. 4 production week assigned. I hope they will not postpone the production time and will not remove anything from the package.

Thanks. Im just suprised they started to put the vurved display already to the x3 lci. I will certainly need to have a talk with my dealer! Also to discuss the drive assist pro. Keep us posted once you receive the car if you got all the options!

Just a reminder that as long as the car is in status 112, you can add or remove options from your order through the dealer. Changes will be closed when the status changes to 150, entered the assembly. Therefore, check with your dealer and complete the car so that you feel comfortable, directly according to my product codes, which you can report to the dealer.

If you're looking at the "06U3 - Live Cockpit Pro (including Navi) BMW Curved Display with HUD" option, I think that the curved display is just referring to the digital instrument panel behind the wheel based on this YouTube video...
