Do they know that they are getting allocations for one next month or is that just dealerspeak for "we hope to get one next month"?
They say they "usually" been getting at least one every time new ones are released last few months, so implying high chance they will get next month. But no assurances about if that allocation is for last week of July or maybe August.

I think either way 2022's are probably all but gone. I personally wouldn't consider a 2023 X3 M40i given the price increase and no driver's assistant pro option. But if you're keen on a 2023 do yourself a favor and ask other dealers as well, 1 of the dealers I've been working with has continuously said they are "likely" to get 2022 allocations week after week since end of May, and they're still saying they are "likely" to receive 2022 allocations NEXT WEEK, even though another dealer told me the last round of 2022 SUV allocations came out at the start of June. Some of these dealers will just lead you on and on.

The dealers I talk to say things like "We can put a build on the order bank for you to work on receiving one of the earliest allocations." But since I disowned my dealer of 15 years for crappy service I'm not willing to commit to one dealer not knowing when/if they will get an allocation. I'll give my business to the first one with an allocation.

Just placed my order for a '23 X4M40i. So far no drivers assistance pro package but they are also checking to see if the 50 year emblem is actually a valid option. Now it's a wait for production to begin in Aug.

My dealer said they were optimistic I'd get an August allocation. No promises were made though.

So the $2250 bump/drivers assist delete is a dealbreaker for you?

100%. My range rover got the self steer and adaptive cruise and it's honestly a game changer. It does a lot of the driving for you. And bmw's system should be even better since it has the eye tracker for traffic jams where you don't even need to touch the wheel every couple of seconds so the car doesn't beep at you. And that much of a price increase is just rubbing salt into the wound. If I didn't get a 2022 allocation, I would be looking to order a GLE 450 since there's only ~4k difference between my 2022 x3 m40i spec and how I would spec a GLE450.

Does your dealer have an allocation yet? I haven't heard they are out yet.

Different style of driving here on this congested island so that feature is not a big deal for me. It WOULD be nice if the ‘23 came with a little something extra so I won’t hate the $2250 bump

Yea, that much of a price hike for nothing new . Are they still deleting the digital key for 2023? Would've appreciated that feature in my car.

I think so, I didn't see it on the 2023 pricing guide. I'd be surprised if it was added since it hasn't been available for a while.

My dealer was able to get me an allocation for a '22' M40 last week, 6/9 to be exact. He said he was able to get two altogether so if you are interested he had one left, send me a pm. He is located in Massachusetts.

Well, just heard from my SA in Cincy, was supposed to get an allocation in May, then June, now he tells me they didn't get any allocations and it will be a '23, but no word when or if I will be expected to pay the increased msrp. I am guessing it is out of his control, but quite disappointing.

We're they willing to sell at MSRP?

Which Cinci dealer do you go to?

PSA: dealer told me they are still expecting 2022 X3 allocations to be given to them by "the end of the month". Don't know how true this is, given most people on this thread are seeing a different story.

That's depressing....

Just came across this thread, didn't see anything I didn't expect to see except for the lack of the Driving Assistant Pro. My wife's new Audi Q5 w/Prestige has Audi's version and it's really good. Can't say I'd enjoy a Q5 though not really impressed with the "fun to drive" aspect.

One of the other New England dealerships was nice enough to give me some insight into the ordering cycle - they're currently getting one or 2 custom order slots per month and have 11 people in front of me which means I'd be lucky to see a car by February. At least they were honest, more so than I can say about the MA dealer I'm working with who has been a nightmare to pin down.

I'm still trying to find out if the passenger lumbar, passenger width, and digital key are still gone as well. At this point, I'm just not sure it's worth it. Options are limited though, an Audi SQ5 is out past 70k w/Prestige package and there are a lot of folks not impressed with their 6 cyl performance.

She did say I could get an X3 30i for July. Whoopee.

From what I can tell from the pricing guide is the passenger lumbar/width and digital key remain out. There might also be a handsfree tailgate delete too (kick-to-open, power tailgate is still there), we won't know until we see order sheets for the '23 orders. The handsfree tailgate started to appear on late '22 models.

I'm 2nd in line with my dealership, they now have over 20 which is crazy.
